Power Optimization of Systems for Direct Thermal to Electrical Energy Conversion

چکیده

Thermoelectric generators (TEGs) offer the possibility of extracting electrical power from any heat source, including low-enthalpy heat. The operation thermoelectric is closely related to not only thermal factors but also load conditions. Consequently, simulations TEG-based systems require adequate modeling both and electric phenomena. In this paper, developed TEG model presented verified through design a complete system able optimize extraction according consisted TEG, properly designed low-cost DC/DC converter, an energy storage element. converter was controlled by specific algorithm that optimized following maximum point. choices adopted for design, implementation development were with experimental measurements.
